    "There's nothing better than sipping on an almond iced latte when the weather heats up," says Byron chef David Lovett, "which is why we thought coffee granola is the ultimate grab and go summer breakfast."

    Rallying coffee connoisseur Reece Cooper from Beam Coffee, the duo dreamt up Coffee, Almond & Macadamia Granola, what became the winning entry to our Australia's Next Top Flavour Competition.

    Picture chunks of macadamia, almond, and oats, tumbled through the sweet and smooth coffee vibes courtesy of Beam Coffee's Lunar Blend for the multi-layered breakfast that overflowed with flavour, and screams summer to boot.

    And just for fun, there's an added bonus at the end. "We want you to be able to crunch your way through that glorious granola, and slurp up the delicious coffee milk left behind."

  • Curious about the Coffee?

    We're long time coffee lovers at Farmer Jo, so really wanted to maximise the specialty coffee flavour in this granola. We roasted the granola in Lunar Blend Espresso, and added Lunar Blend – Instant Coffee in the mixing stage.

    Brazil Taqueria Do Reino 40%. Colombia Finca La Pedregoza 60%

    Lunar Blend combines these two coffees from a duo fo farms with exceptional agronomy practices. This blend is long slow ride on a brumby into flavour country, designed specifically for milk it combines perfectly with creamy cow's or alternative milks and makes for one sweet and smooth time. Beam Coffee has roasted and blended these two coffees & extracted them to perfection to create the perfect accompaniment for Farmer Jo's Almond Macadamia Granola.
